Programs

The programs at Brother’s Keeper seek to discover each individual’s unique gifts and abilities, assist these individuals as they fine-tune these gifts and abilities into a skill set, and equip them to engage with the community by using these skills to serve others, thereby enabling them to experience success and satisfaction.

Activities feature functional academics so that enrolled adults may enhance their thinking skills and computer skills, while being exposed to integrated therapy concepts.  The program trains in social and community awareness, vocational skills, cooking skills, and more.  Besides the program’s educational component, it provides education about nutrition and physical fitness to enable these adults to lead healthy lifestyles.  Finally, the adults build a community through social activities.  Overall the programs strive to provide these adults with productive and meaningful challenges.

Educational and Enrichment Programs including but not limited to the following:

Therapies:
Some therapies may be provided at a program level to all participants. Others may be unique and supported at the individual level.

Business and Social Enterprises:
Coaching, supervision, and assistance are all tailored to the participant’s individual skill level.  Revenues generated will be redirected back into the program.
