Life-Long Learning

Learning does not stop with graduation from high school or college.  We all continue learning, developing, and growing as we grow older, including the adults with disabilities who attend Brother’s Keeper.

We enjoy continued, practical education in:

  • Daily living skills
  • Reading and comprehension
  • Writing
  • Functional math, money application, and counting
  • Our community and our world
  • Object recognition
  • Social skills
  • Technology

We learn with the goal of continued development and practice of basic skills at each participant’s appropriate level.  We strive to provide a wide variety in the skills taught every day, with the focus being on improving practical, daily life skills that set the participants up for success.
